Absence of Presence

 

This image was created in between residencies at The Wilderness Gallery, Cradle Moutain. The tree was removed prior to my solo exhibition titled 'Absence of Presence' which seemed chilling at the time

as the show was all about the beautiful gum trees and individual shapes discovered on the road to Cradle Mountain, with many trees dying, or removed.
